AGM & Trophy Day    
Trophy Presentation Day and AGM being held on Sunday 12th October 2008.

Please fill out and return this form for your attendance.

For those who are new to the club this is the day when we hold our Annual General Meeting and the Committee for the next year is elected. It is also the day when the kids receive their long awaited trophy and team photo.

The process for handing out the trophies is going to be the same as last year. The Auskick Rules Team (Under 8 to 11) will be breaking up into their team groups and the coaches will be awarding the trophies in groups.

Lunch is also going to be distributed in these team groups.

The Club is providing a jumping castle for the kids and also lunch for the whole family. We are hoping this year to hold the day on the second oval.

Coorparoo to host Rec Footy Comp    
For the first time in 2008 Coorparoo JAFC will be holding a mixed Recreational Football competition on Thursday nights starting on the 9th of October, 2008.  More info here (pdf documant).

Coorparoo JAFC wishes to congratulate the following players for reaching a significant milestone in their football careers, Joel Fyfe, Tom Gosper, Louis Townsend, and Bryce Mulcahy for reaching 100 games of AFL for Coorparoo.

Coorparoo JAFC wishes to congratulate the following players for reaching a significant milestone in their football careers.  Martin Doyle, Harry Profke, Stephen Adey, Jack Cole and Alvin Mugge have all played 100 games of AFL.   Well done boys and we hope there are many more games to come.

2008 Sign On Information    
The 2008 Sign-On Days are Saturday and Sunday 9 & 10 February, 2008, at the club, 10.00am - 2.00pm.

Coorparoo Juniors will field teams from u8-u16 in 2008.

To Register, you will need to complete a AFLBJ registration form and pay your registration fee.

Transferring from Another Club:
If transferring from another club a clearance form must also be completed and processed.

First Timers & Those Not Registered for 2 Years or More:
If you are registering for the first time or have not registered for 3 years you will have to provide proof of age – original and an extra copy of birth certificate/passport/letter from school (signed by school principal and on school letterhead).

Registration forms can be downloaded and printed, click here.  Bring 2 copies of the form signed by player and parent when registering at the club.

Fixture Dates:
The 2008 season (for all age groups) commences on the weekend of Friday 18 / Sunday 20 April 2008.  The season will finish on the weekend of 16/17 August.  The Grand Final weekend is 13/14 September.


2008 Fees:
Under 8 – Under 10 $170.00
Under 11 $190.00
Under 12 – Under 16 $210.00
(Discount of $10.00 will apply for second child)

Registration also includes the new look Club shirt.

Training Days:
Training will commence as follows:
 Training begins for u12 - u16 teams on Tuesday 12 February, 4.30 - 6.00pm , U11 commence Thursday 14 February 4.30 to 6.00 pm and the u8 - u10 teams will commence on Wednesday 12 March, 4.30 - 5.30pm.
